Project’s main goal was to create a functional and trendy open space office for more than 300 people in which they could feel as comfortable as possible. It was decided to implement a plan for the design, which would focus on employee experience. We wanted people to benefit from this project.
DNB bank employees made an important impact to co-opt the working space and make it their own. To contribute to the comfort and familiarity of the work environment bank employees were encouraged to test different furniture first before decision was made about the most suitable solution. Furniture selection was made based on employees voting results. A functional design was created that complies with KATE assumptions and DNB bank guidelines.
The space is light filled and the color scheme kept neutral to allow for the hero features to stand out. The chosen high quality AIRPADLIGHT (Interstuhl) task chairs demonstrate potential of long lasting comfort offering excellent sitting experience. Meeting rooms are equipped with ALIA chairs (Moving), used in all branches of DNB Bank. And it is worth to mention also TV AND MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM designed and made by Kate for running effective presentations.
It has been a challenge to set up silent rooms in this project. Due to the small size of the dedicated space acoustic ceiling panel CLOUD was chosen to gain effective sound absorbing solution. In the same time Cloud can be used as a lighting element in the space.
The result of this project is a trendy yet functional and vibrant work space that exudes a motivating and dynamic essence.
