Kate was commissioned to renovate open space interior design of Tieto office located in Riga. The main request was to update it with no visual boundaries, but comfortable for all employees offering suitable acoustic solutions as acoustic plays one of the most important roles in opened plan projects.
Active usage of materials such as sound absorbing panels and acoustic curtains etc. give a high level of comfort. To reach the set goal of Kate customer it was decided to use highly functional textile “Primacoustic” from “Creation Baumann” collection in this project. This innovative and comprehensive acoustic fabric offers a high degree of acoustic effectiveness. It features a mat finish which opens up option to use it in curtains separating working zones obtaining peace and calm through sound absorbing. Thanks to optimized interior acoustics employees may feel comfy while semi-transparency of the fabric allows to keep and feel spaciousness of opened space.
