The given task from our client JSC „Latvijas Gāze” was to maximize floor space and make cozy and airy work environment divided into special zones for employees and customers. It turned to be a quite difficult challenge due to the complicated planning of the premises- three 55 m to 7.5 m warehouses.
This was a real team work- the author of the project Aigars Vilnītis in close collaboration with “Kate” architect Jānis Mežulis integrated the furniture in the planned premises already in the very beginning of this project. There were also specially designed and manufactured furniture used for the customer hall that fits this space and needs the best.
The comfortable work environment with its identity was achieved by choosing furniture of light and airy forms and logo of „Latvijas Gāze”. The space was brighten up with pops of piquant color accents and made cozy by using natural linoleum as a surface material.
“Kate’s” offered furnishing solution was office tables from FRII series. As for the client service hall, ECO task chairs turned to be the most suitable for employees and KICCA chairs- for visitors. Back office was furnished with MOVIE visitors chairs and lounge furniture from KUBS series.
