The inspiration behind the “New School” chair comes from the familiar and classic form of a school bench, presented in a completely new and modern execution. These chairs are perfectly suitable for public spaces or offices where functionality is a significant design aspect. With upholstered details, armrests, a base with wheels, and an elevated headrest, you can enjoy additional comfort. On the other hand, leaving these chairs without upholstery results in more practical chairs that are easy to maintain and perfect for cafeterias or high-traffic waiting areas.
The tall version of the “New School” chair is available in two heights: bar height (820 mm seat height) and counter height (640 mm seat height).
“New School” is the recipient of the “German Design Special 2019” award.
