Demo apartment at River Breeze Residence, Kliversala quarter, Kuģu iela 28, Rīga.
The client's brief came with a challenge - could we make the apartment feel light and elegantly homely during the dark time of year, and create the impression that the ceilings are higher and the rooms more spacious. After going carefully through the details of the apartment's layout, we decided on an interior style set on the border between minimalism, urban chic and natural elements.
The inspiration for the furnishing came directly from nature, as the apartment has large windows and a terrace with an attractive view. To carry that sense of nature through indoors, various natural elements "moved in" - timber finishes, stone details, ceramics and shades found in nature. The palette is dominated by calm, natural tones. The furniture chosen for the apartment is both aesthetically refined and comfortable, giving the interior a convincing design character and a homely, relaxed atmosphere.
